NEW Apple Macbook for under $1,000?? →
Although it’s a couple notches below the other laptops in the Apple fleet, the newly re-designed Macbooks are a great price (for a Mac at least). I’ve always been a Dell person, but as the days until college approaches, Apple is calling my name. I’ve gone through many Dell computers- from laptops to desktop- and while they’re great, they simply do not last. Besides, the...
The Honesty to College
To most, college is a very serious topic. It is often a factor to where you live, the friends you make, the traits you pick up, the salary you make, and also how people view you. College can be a competition of ranks and abilities; moreover, as the years have gone by, the importance of GPA, community service hours, and extracurriculars have grown tremendously.
As a first-semester senior, I can...
1st Re-Blog!
dianajacqueline:
You know that feeling when everything seems to be falling back together?
Well, I’m feeling it and it’s great to have it back. (:
Follow your heart, but be quiet for a while first. Ask questions, then feel the...
Mistakes
Just like most individuals would own up to, I have made plenty of mistakes in my life. I have made insanely stupid choices that wind up have the worst results to not only myself, but those around me. The most important thing to know about mistakes is that they happen in the moment. Mistakes are the outcome of spontaneous emotions that are downright foolish.
Ultimately, we learn from them.
Papa Roach & JET ! →
This sounds amazing… Club Nokia’s a low-key venue as is, but apparently on the 23rd of November, Papa Roach & JET will be playing. I haven’t followed JET in awhile, but I’m sure some classics from middle school (rofl) will be played.

I Love LA
What an amazing time to be a [proud] member of LaLa Land. I’m riding out the final months of my incredible high school years in the city I love; the weather’s absolutely incredible for this time of year; and most importantly, from the looks of it, this look like the year for sports.
The World Champion Lakers look sharp during pre-season. During the summer, we lost bithchy Trevor...
The Weekend's almost here!
I love Thursdays, yet I hate them. The only negative to them is the fact that I typically have 2-3 exams on Friday, but it also means that… the weekend is almost here!
Friday: AP Biology test, Human Geo test, and Calculus test (ew), and then I’m taking my Senior portraits after school. I don’t have any plans for the evening- maybe a guys night out. Saturday: SAT II Math tutor in...
Human Geography
First blog post from class! It’s basically lunch, and I’m sitting here with Ryan and Diana (supposedly in a “study group”) in Human Geography. The end of the quarter is next Thursday, with no school on Friday, so we’re basically riding out this easy week.
First Quarter: done (and successfully for a change!). Second Quarter: here we come… Oh yea, and then...
Top Ten: Favorite Movies of All-Time
#10: 300… This was one of the few movies I see more than once; in fact, I remember seeing 300 (truthfully) 4 times in theaters. I really enjoyed the special effects, and, for some reason, the gore was really entertaining.
#9: School of Rock… Who cannot love School of Rock? I’m pretty sure that I was in middle school when this movie came out, and it was the biggest hit. It makes...
Home Sweet Home!
Listen to this for a Sunday night:
So, being the Senior in high school I am, it’s a cramming night! Haven’t pulled one of these before… psh. Actually it’s quite nice. I’m sitting here, in my laker warm-up pants, next to my girl, Diana.
Not only am I accompanied by my favorite person, but I’m huddled over a pile of Human Geography notes, study guides on the...
Tumbling across tumblr.
I received an email from one of my close friends (and political colleagues) about joining this “tumblr.” site. For all I know, I thought it was some Facebook quiz, but Jono suggested that I join and follow our Student Government’s blog. Not only am I going to follow and post for our BSC blog, but I really want to make something more person- something a little more, well, me.
On...
